An evening on (The Vital Effects of Zamzam Water) at the ACADEMIYON Cultural Platform
As part of the series of meetings presented by the ACADEMION Institute through the ACADEMION Cultural Platform, a non-profit platform dedicated to disseminating knowledge and sciences through the institute's ambassadors and advisors, and through a variety of reading, audio, and visual materials, the platform hosted a cultural dialogue within the series of interactive discussions featuring a distinguished group of intellectuals and pioneers of science in various fields titled (The Biophysical Effects of Zamzam Water) and a review of some scientific innovations. The meeting took place on Tuesday, 21/2/1443 AH, corresponding to 28/9/2021 AD, and hosted His Excellency Professor: Hamid Mohamed Metwally, an entomologist in the Department of Biology. The meeting was presented by Dr. Mishal bin Yasin Al-Mahlawi, founder of the ACADEMION International Training Institute, and the evening was broadcast via Zoom at 10 PM.
At the beginning of the evening, Dr. Metwally mentioned that Allah Almighty honored His noble Prophet Ismail (peace be upon him) and his mother, Lady Hagar, in response to the prayer of His friend, our master Ibrahim, and Allah honored him with Zamzam water, this blessed water that was a source of goodness and blessing for our master Ismail (peace be upon him). Since that time until today, history, whether health or social, has not recorded any injuries or diseases resulting from drinking Zamzam water. He said, peace be upon him: "Zamzam water is blessed water".
Dr. Metwally clarified that every scientific research he conducted has a story, and he began with the story of his experience with "students". He wanted to advise students that energy drinks and soft drinks are harmful to health. He aimed to convey this truth through an experiment, so they formed a team of students and began the experiment, dividing the students into groups based on each individual's preference for energy drinks. The experiment lasted for two weeks, during which each student drank two cans of energy drink followed by one or two cups of Zamzam water. The students began to feel restless and could not complete the experiment as the taste of the energy drink became unpalatable to them, and they experienced headaches. They then continued the experiment by drinking only Zamzam water, concluding that Zamzam water counteracts the effects of stimulants, and with the consumption of Zamzam water, the vital signs began to return to their previous state, even better than before, and the vital functions returned to normal. Zamzam water acts as an antidote to the effects of active substances found in energy drinks, primarily caffeine.
Dr. Metwally also explained another experiment on smokers who underwent the same energy drink experiment. They found that Zamzam water led to a reduction in smoking doses and their tobacco intake decreased. Additionally, their concern about smoking became less and was no longer as before. He then explained the experiment with carbon tetrachloride, a volatile gas like "benzene" that causes suffocation and constriction of the respiratory passages and affects the nervous system, potentially leading to seizures. They conducted an experiment on rats, exposing them to carbon tetrachloride vapors, and found that within seconds, the rat's normal behavior began to change and lean towards aggression. Carbon tetrachloride causes tissue rupture and destruction, and the vital signs in the rats decreased by more than 65%. They then gave the rats Zamzam water, which reduced the effects of the vapors, and the tissue rupture rate decreased to about 30%, while the recovery rate from the vapors increased. Zamzam water played a protective role in preventing tissue ruptures and maintaining these animals and their systems intact.
Dr. Metwally pointed to another experiment using Zamzam water to prepare some natural extracts affecting health, using (black seed, ginger, senna). In comparison, they dissolved the medicinal plant in distilled water and Zamzam water, assessing their effects on muscle and nerve contractions. The results showed that the plants dissolved in Zamzam water had a stronger effect in maintaining normal contraction performance and resisted the toxic effects of added substances from fungi and chemicals, providing promising indicators and results for the effectiveness of these natural preparations and an increase in their therapeutic capacity.
Dr. Metwally added that the germination process for a group of plants watered with Zamzam water had a significant effect on plant growth and flowering, unlike plants watered with well water or other fresh waters. The ionic composition of the elements in Zamzam water was a reason for the flowering process, in addition to the compatibility of the water elements in Zamzam compared to other waters. Zamzam water has effects on growth hormones and flowering hormones in plants.
At the end of the evening, Dr. Mishal Al-Mahlawi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Hamid Metwally for accepting the invitation to the evening and for the enriching and valuable information he provided during the session. He also thanked all members of the ACADEMION Cultural Platform.
