The (Hunting Thoughts) Program and Abundance of Prostration
The ACADEMION International Training Institute presented the (Thought CaptureOn Wednesday, corresponding to the 16th of Ramadan in the year 1442 AH, at exactly ten o'clock in the evening, the guest of the program was Dr. Said Qabil, via live broadcast on Zoom (ZOOMand on YouTube with the ACADEMION International Training Institute.
Dr. Al-Khater began by quoting Allah Almighty: (And remind them of the days of Allah) and His saying, peace be upon him: "Indeed, your Lord has in the days of your time breezes, so expose yourselves to them, perhaps one of them will touch you, and you will never suffer afterwards". He mentioned that during these days, humanity is in a temporal lesson where the nation returns to Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, as Allah, the Almighty, prescribed fasting in Surah Al-Baqarah, where He said: (O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous) fasting came to achieve righteousness, and righteousness is not merely about the passage of the month but is through the deeds of Ramadan, and the most prominent deeds of Ramadan are the abundance of prostration and the night prayer, and this deed is a reason for the elevation of the Islamic nation. Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, describes the Islamic nation in His saying: (Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those with him are severe against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating) the companions, who are the best of people after the prophets, were bowing and prostrating even though they were traders and were traveling the land seeking the bounty of Allah, and they filled the earth with knowledge, faith, and monotheism, you see them bowing and prostrating, a nation that glorified the matter of mosques and was keen to meet its Lord, so Allah made everything easy for them.
Dr. Qabil affirmed that the month of Ramadan is a month of worship, and the most prominent and greatest act of worship is prostration to Allah, the Blessed and Exalted. Allah, the Almighty, clarified the establishment of prayer with humility and the maintenance and continuity of it. He also mentioned that a Muslim in the month of Ramadan should prostrate to Allah, reflecting and feeling that he is a servant of Allah, the Blessed and Exalted. The feeling of servitude brings elevation, honor, and richness, and the servant is closest to his Lord when he is in prostration.
Dr. Qabil also advised that a person should seize the month of Ramadan for worship, take care to erase the effects of the world from their hearts, turn to Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, live according to the way of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and follow the Messenger of Allah in the Hereafter through abundant prostration. For in the abundance of prostration, there is humility and glorification to Allah, the Blessed and Exalted. Whoever humbles himself before Allah shows mercy to the oppressed, refrains from injustice, returns rights to their owners, loves goodness for the servants, fulfills the needs of the poor and needy, and brings joy to the hearts of Muslims, thus prayer has borne fruit and yielded its results, and the Muslim has succeeded in the month of Ramadan and emerged with the great treasure of abundant prostration.
