The ACADEMION International Training Institute presented the (Thought CaptureOn Monday, the 14th of Ramadan in the year 1442 AH at exactly ten o'clock in the evening, the guest of the program was Dr. Hussein Al-Qurashi, broadcast live on the program (ZOOMand on YouTube with the ACADEMION International Training Institute.
Often, many people have sufficient knowledge but lack discipline in applying that knowledge or refraining from prohibited matters. This applies not only to religious matters or acts of worship but also in transactions. From this perspective, Dr. Hussein Al-Qurashi's reflection on discipline was based.
Dr. Al-Qurashi pointed to the state of the world during the Corona pandemic and how the situation has evolved, noting the lack of discipline among some in wearing masks or adhering to precautions, as well as the lack of discipline while driving, speeding, and using prohibited parking spaces. All of this is due to a lack of discipline and disregard for the system's mechanisms. He also clarified that everyone must work with all the knowledge they have sought in any field, as knowledge is meant to be acted upon and adhered to, in order to achieve community development.
Dr. Al-Qurashi also mentioned that most systems were established due to the lack of discipline among many members of society in their application, leading to strict laws and violations of all kinds. Laws are put in place for discipline, implementation, and working within the system to strive for the desired progress and elevation. Additionally, most institutions have clear strategic plans that cost millions but lack presence in reality due to non-compliance with implementation. The success of nations and individuals can only be achieved through high standards of discipline, which in turn leads to progress, development, and change in the best possible way.
Dr. Al-Qurashi added: A person must balance between their skills and values, as Allah Almighty said: (Indeed, the best one you can hire is the strong and trustworthy). Strength is a skill, and trustworthiness is a value that helps in the success of that skill. Allah Almighty has set the correct methodology to be followed in life in general, and He commanded us to adhere to that methodology so that worldly and otherworldly life can be straightened out. Life is like a circuit, similar to an electrical circuit, where the current only flows when it is closed. Likewise, in life, discipline only occurs through defining desires, correcting mistakes, and then working on logical evaluation and good planning, thus allowing the circuit to operate in the best possible way.
