Triple Academic Summit: An imminent international cooperation agreement to enhance research and media at the College of Media and Communication Conference
In a significant step towards strengthening international academic cooperation, a high-level trilateral meeting was held, bringing together Professor Dr. Hayat Niaz, President of ACADEMIA International University, Professor Nada Al-Abaidi, President of the Swedish Crown University, and Professor Awatif Al-Nouri, President of the Swiss Association of Arab Academics and Scientists.
This meeting paves the way for the signing of a joint cooperation agreement that will be officially announced during the second international conference of the College of Media and Communication, scheduled to take place on September 20 and 21, 2025.
Professor Dr. Hayat Niaz opened the meeting with a welcoming speech, providing an overview of ACADEMIA International University and its ambitious academic mission. She expressed her sincere gratitude and appreciation for the participation of the Swedish Crown University and the Swiss Association in the upcoming conference activities, emphasizing that "this meeting represents a strategic launch towards fruitful cooperation between leading academic institutions, reflecting ACADEMIA International University's commitment to expanding its international partnerships to serve academic development and professional training." Dr. Niaz praised the pivotal role this presence will play in enriching scientific sessions and academic dialogue, benefiting the entire scientific community.
For her part, Professor Nada Al-Abaidi presented a detailed overview of the Swedish Crown University, showcasing its advanced academic programs and prestigious international accreditations. Professor Al-Abaidi affirmed that "this trilateral cooperation is an important step towards establishing academic quality standards and knowledge exchange between the East and the West," and noted the Swedish Crown University's readiness to offer its extensive expertise in digital education and international training, enhancing the quality of educational outcomes and opening new horizons for students and researchers.
Professor Awatif Al-Nouri highlighted in her intervention the main activities and programs of the Swiss Association of Arab Academics and Scientists in supporting scientific research and building academic networks. Professor Al-Nouri confirmed that "the anticipated agreement represents a qualitative platform for building a shared academic space, contributing to the development of Arab scientific research on solid international institutional foundations," and expressed the association's aspiration to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences for the benefit of Arab academics and scientists, contributing to raising the level of scientific research in the region.
During the meeting, proposed areas of cooperation among the three parties were reviewed, and the idea of signing a joint cooperation protocol covering academic, research, and training aspects was raised. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to launch a symbolic joint initiative reflecting the beginning of this cooperation, such as holding an international seminar or training course in the media or academic field, aiming to practically activate the agreement and enhance communication among partners.
This cooperation is expected to culminate in an official signing of the agreement during one of the important sessions of the second international conference of the College of Media and Communication, opening wide horizons for academic and research partnerships on an international level.
