The evening was transmitted via Zoom, and was managed by Dr. Sonia Maleki.

Dr. Mahdar began the evening by highlighting the concept of knowledge management, which is a set of processes that help in creating, generating, organizing, using, and disseminating knowledge, and using it to achieve quality decision-making and problem-solving. She also clarified the importance of knowledge management, which lies in stimulating cultural change and innovation, and solving problems.

Dr. Mahdar pointed out that knowledge management contributes to facilitating and improving decision-making, then she moved on to the pillars of knowledge management, which focus on the cultural environment, effective leadership, and strategy. She also explained the steps of knowledge management that include data, information, and knowledge, and then outlined the steps of knowledge management.

Dr. Mahdar elaborated on the differences between information management and knowledge management, noting that all knowledge is essentially information, but not all information is knowledge. She also touched on the fact that the future will not belong to the most numerous, but to the most knowledgeable, and that knowledge is the key to progress in all sectors. To shape the future, one must explore the paths of knowledge through scientific research and experimentation.

At the end of the evening, Dr. Mahdar clarified that the topic of knowledge management has not received its due in application and practice in most organizations and needs strategies in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the employment of capabilities for that vision both internally and externally. Scientific research is a vital source of knowledge management, and there must be internal departments for knowledge networking and positive transfer, and the establishment of channels for knowledge exchange. She also indicated that without effective and aware leadership, and without leadership and strategy, work is stifled, and the workers with visions, ambitions, and creativity are suppressed. She emphasized that in the saying of Allah (Indeed, the best of those you hire is the strong and trustworthy) that strength is not physical strength, but the strength of the mind, principle, strategy, vision, and willpower. When a person possesses that strength, they hold the trust in their discourse and justice among people, the trust of practice, and the use of human and material resources.
